Fashion's Night Out Celebrity Best Dressed

With the help of omg.yahoo.com, I had the chance to see celebrity on goers of Fashion's Night Out. Some dressed in outfits that were unflattering while others donned outfits that were well put-together. Out of the eleven photographs I viewed, I only like a couple celebrities outfits. These were Lauren Conrad and Lea Michele. They both donned figure flattering dresses. Lauren Conrad wore a fitted navy blue dress with a v-neckline. Along with the form fitting dress she wore a pair of strapy black platforms. Lea Michele wore a black, over sized button up dress. She paired the dress with some leather booties. Both ladies wore appropriate attire to the events. Other celebs which I wont name, did not. I have included pictures of both ladies for you to see. What do you think about their outfits?

Celebrity Inspired Makeup

I know this video has been out a while, but I just love her makeup in it. The celebrity that I am talking about is none other than Jennifer Lopez. The video is called On the floor. Her makeup always looks glamorous. I'm sure after you watch the video you will want to recreate her look. There are many talented makeup artists on out there that have recreated her look. I have picked out a couple that I think did the best job. The first one is by the Pixiwoo sisters. They are famous U.K. makeup artists that are masters at what they do. The second video is by a Canadian makeup artist named Eman. She also has great skills when it comes to recreating celebrity looks. In case you haven't watched the video I have included a picture J.Lo's makeup look.

Shopping List

There a few things on my shopping list. Don't get confused this is not a grocery list. It is a shopping list for clothing of course. They are things that I have put off because I want to find the perfect piece. Here is what my shopping list consists of:

• Boots: when shopping for boots I look for a few things such as comfort, color, and edginess. The black pair is great because it matches most of my wardrobe. They definitely don't appear to be comfortable, but they are a bit on the edgy side. The camel colored boots are great because this is a great fall color. They also look comfortable and edgy.
  

• Panel leather leggings: I have been looking for a pair of these leggings for the longest time. The only place I have found these is online. For these type of leggings I feel that I should try them on instead of ordering them and hoping they'd fit. If you know where I can pick these up let me know.

• Over sized button-ups: These kind of tops are my favorite. They are loose and feminine at the same time. They are great because you can pair them with almost any cut jeans. Or you can opt to wear them with leggings.

• Skinny belts: I want a few skinny belts to pair with the over sized button-ups that I plan on buying. The ones in the image below would be great because they can also be worn on jeans.

• Handbag: I am looking for the perfect fall handbag. I want one to double as an everyday bag and school bag.The one in the image below looks like it would double as both. I am still trying to find the right bag with comfortable straps, so I am still on the hunt for a hand bag.

Fall 2011 Beauty Trend

One of my favorite things in the world is lipstick and the fall season. Put the two together and you have exciting trends to look forward to. The lipstick colors that will be in this season will be variations of red. Keep reading to find out what colors you'll see and what brands you can find these lip shades in.

One lipstick shade you will see in the fall 2011 season is burnt red lipstick. You can get this look by using Revlon's Certainly Red lipstick. Top this lipstick of with your favorite clear gloss to achieve the look this model is wearing.






Another lipstick trend you will see this fall 2011 is scarlet red lipstick. Here is a picture of Megan Fox rocking this shade. If you want to achieve this look try out Revlon's Really Red lipstick. I own this shade myself and I think it works well with any skin tone. Just pair it with the right lip liner and clean up the edges. Since this is a darker red you will need to have crisper lines.
